Yayi'S Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. chicken broth
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. onions, sliced
    1 (8 oz.) water chestnuts
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. cooked chicken, chopped
    1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms
    1/4 c. chopped pimento
    1/4 c. sherry, optional
Preparation
    Blend butter and flour; add broth and milk. Cook, stirring constantly over low heat & sauce is thick. Saute onion in a little butter, add rest of ingredients to sauce. Add sherry (optional). Serve in pasta shells.
