Winter Squash Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. whole wheat flour
    1/4 c. corn meal or wheat germ
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. cooked, mashed winter squash or pumpkin
    2 Tbsp. corn oil or vegetable oil
    1 egg
    1 c. low-fat milk
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1/2 c. raisins or dried currants
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Grease muffin tins with a small amount of oil or use paper liners.
    Measure and sift flours, baking powder, salt, sugar and spices into a large bowl.
    Stir in corn meal or wheat germ.
