Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 doz. large green peppers
    1/2 doz. large red peppers
    1 doz. green tomatoes
    1 doz. medium onions
    1/2 c. salt
    4 c. vinegar
    6 c. sugar
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. ground allspice
    1 1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
Preparation
    Grind all vegetables together; add 1/2 cup salt.
    Let stand at least 4 hours, then drain.
    Allow sugar and vinegar to come to a boil.
    Add spices and then the relish mixture.
    Boil on low heat 10 minutes.
    Jar and seal.
