Oriental Pork - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pork, cut in cubes
    1 beaten egg
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1/4 c. flour
    1 1/4 c. chicken broth
    salad oil
    1 large green pepper, cut up
    1/2 c. chopped carrots
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. soy sauce
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Trim excess fat from pork.
    Combine egg, 1/4 cup cornstarch, flour, 1/4 cup chicken broth and 1/2 teaspoon salt (salt optional). Beat until smooth.
    Pour salad oil 1-inch deep in electric skillet. Heat to 375\u00b0.
    Dip pork in batter and fry 5 to 6 minutes or until golden.
