Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 can pineapple
    brown sugar
    red cherries
    1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. white sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. milk
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0 (325\u00b0 if using glass pan).
    Fill baking dish (8 x 8 x 2-inches) with stick of butter already melted. Sprinkle in brown sugar until 1/4-inch high.
    Place pineapple in an arrangement with cherries.
    Set to one side.
