Strawberry Trifle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yellow or white cake mix
    16 oz. frozen strawberry halves
    18 oz. can vanilla pudding
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Bake cake according to directions in 9 x 9-inch pan.
    Cool. Cut crosswise in half.
    Arrange 1 layer of cake in 2-quart serving bowl.
    Pour 1/2 strawberries over cake, then 1 cup pudding. Repeat.
    Cover and chill 4 hours.
    When ready to serve, top with Cool Whip.
    Garnish with fresh strawberries.
