Hot Apple Cider Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. apple cider
    2 tsp. whole cloves
    2 tsp. whole allspice
    2 (3-inch) cinnamon sticks
    2/3 c. water
    2 oranges, studded with cloves
Preparation
    Heat cider, cloves, allspice, cinnamon and sugar to boiling; cover and simmer 20 minutes.
    Strain punch and pour into punch bowl.
    Float oranges in bowl.
    Makes 32 servings (about 1/2 cup each).
