Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 slices bacon
    1 (7 oz.) can minced clams with liquid
    1 large potato, peeled and cubed
    1/4 c. minced onions
    1/2 c. water
    1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 Tbsp. butter
    dash of salt and pepper
Preparation
    Put bacon in a 2-quart casserole.
    Cover with paper towel. Microwave 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, until crisp.
    Remove paper towel and bacon; leave drippings in casserole.
    Crumble bacon and set aside. Add clams, liquid, potato, onions and water.
    Cover and microwave 8 minutes on High, stirring every 3 minutes.
    Add milk, bacon, seasonings and butter.
    Cover and cook 2 to 3 minutes until it comes to a boil.
    Let stand 2 minutes.
    Serves 3 to 4.
