Ground Beef Shepherds Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 onion, chopped
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 tsp. dried basil
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 c. green beans, drained
    1 c. tomatoes, diced
    2 potatoes, cooked and mashed
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat; add onion and saute for 5 minutes.
    Add ground beef and basil and saute 5 more minutes.
    Add garlic, green beans and tomatoes; stir well.
    Simmer 5 minutes.
    Pour mixture into a 2-quart casserole dish.
    In separate bowl, combine potatoes with egg and water.
    Mix well and spread over meat mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until potatoes start to brown on top. Sprinkle with cheese 5 minutes before done.
