7-Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    1 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
    1/4 c. sliced onion
    7 slices cooked, crumbled bacon
    1 small can tiny English peas, drained
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. mayonnaise
    grated Cheddar cheese (to cover top)
Preparation
    Break lettuce in large salad bowl.
    Lay ingredients as listed. Cover with Saran Wrap to seal.
    Refrigerate and serve after 8 hours.
