Cauliflower Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1 medium carrot, grated
    2 c. diced onion
    2 c. sliced celery
    2 tsp. powdered ginger
    1/4 tsp. pepper (white)
    1 large cauliflower head in florets
    6 c. chicken stock
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Saute diced onion, celery and carrot in the butter until tender.
    Add chicken stock, ginger, pepper and cauliflower.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer until cauliflower is tender.
    Puree soup in blender.
