Papaya Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. papaya, chopped fine
    2 c. crushed pineapple in own juice
    3 1/4 c. sugar
    1 box Sure-Jell light
Preparation
    Measure fruit into 6 or 8-quart pot.
    Measure sugar into separate bowl; mix 1/4 cup of the sugar with 1 box of Sure-Jell. Stir sugar with Sure-Jell into fruit.
    Bring mixture to full rolling boil, stirring constantly.
    Quickly add remaining sugar to fruit.
    Bring to full rolling boil.
    Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Fill jars.
    Quickly cover and seal.
    Invert for 5 minutes.
