Chow Chow - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 gal. onions
1 gal. cucumbers
1 gal. cabbage
1 gal. green tomatoes
1/2 doz. red peppers, chopped
6 pt. vinegar
3 c. ground mustard
1/2 pt. olive oil
1 c. flour
3 c. sugar
1 oz. turmeric
1 small box celery seed
Preparation
-
Mix the mustard, flour, oil and turmeric together with 1 pint cold vinegar.
Stir into 6 pints of vinegar and boil.
Add vegetables and cook until tender.
Put in jars and seal well.
