Orange Raisin Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. carrots, scraped and sliced
    3/4 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. orange juice
    1/2 c. raisins
    1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Combine carrots, water and salt in saucepan.
    Bring to a boil. Cover and reduce the heat.
    Simmer for 5 to 8 minutes, until carrots are crisp-tender; drain.
    Combine orange juice and cornstarch and stir into carrots.
    Stir in raisins and sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened.
    Serves 4 to 6.
