Gingery Pea And Noodle Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1 tsp. soy sauce
    4 green onions (and tops)
    1 stalk celery, sliced
    6 oz. chow mein noodles
    2 to 3 tsp. minced fresh ginger
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    6 to 8 oz. can water chestnuts, drained and thinly sliced
    10 oz. frozen peas, thawed
    butter lettuce (optional)
Preparation
    Stir mayonnaise, ginger, garlic salt, mustard and soy sauce. Chill. Dice green onions and celery. Combine with peas and water chestnuts.
    Cover and chill.
