Whole Wheat Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 thick slices whole wheat bread (stale)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    2 eggs
    1 qt. milk
    1 c. raisins
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Remove crust.
    Cut in cubes.
    Soak in water and squeeze out. Place in 2-quart baking dish; mix and add milk.
    Put in hot oven. When it starts to bake well, then turn down heat.
    Stir often for 2 hours.
    Serve hot or cold with whipped cream.
