Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    4 c. peeled chopped apples
    3/4 c. oil
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs, lightly beaten
Preparation
    Mix all dry ingredients and apples by hand in large bowl until apples are well coated.
    Combine with wet ingredients.
    Spread in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake for 1 hour, or until toothpick comes out clean, at 350\u00b0 (may be less than 1 hour).
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
    Good with
    whipped cream or ice cream.
