Beef Goulash - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. shortening
1 1/2 lb. boneless chuck, cut into cubes
1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
1/2 c. canned tomato paste
2 c. water
Preparation

In Dutch oven or heavy saucepan, heat shortening and brown meat well.
Stir in Lipton onion soup mix, tomato paste and water. Simmer, covered, 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender, adding more water, if needed.
Serve over noodles.
