Jambalaya - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 chicken breasts, lightly browned
2 Tbsp. butter
3/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/4 c. chopped bell pepper
1 Tbsp. minced parsley
1 minced garlic clove
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
28 oz. can chopped, undrained tomatoes
1 can beef broth
1 1/4 c. water
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. chili powder
black pepper to taste
2 c. chopped ham
1 c. uncooked rice
Preparation

Chop up chicken breasts. Combine chicken with all ingredients except ham and rice. Bring to boil. Add ham and rice. Cover and simmer until rice is done.
