Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs, beaten
    2 c. milk
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/3 c. raisins (optional)
    3 c. dry bread cubes (approximately 4 to 5 slices)
Preparation
    Heat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Beat the eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla together.
    Place the bread pieces in a buttered baking dish (approximately 8 x 1 1/2-inches round).
    Pour milk mixture over the bread.
    Sprinkle on the raisins.
    Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until a knife inserted comes out clean.
