Okra Gumbo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 large green pepper (bell), chopped
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil or bacon drippings
    4 c. sliced fresh okra
    3 ripe tomatoes, peeled and chopped
    1 c. corn, cut from cob (about 2 ears)
    1 Tbsp. white vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    In large skillet, saute onion and pepper in oil until tender. Add remaining ingredients and cook over medium heat 15 minutes. Stir frequently.
    Serve immediately.
    Yields 8 servings.
