Australian Sultana Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. mashed potatoes
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. golden raisins
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. ginger
Preparation
    In bowl, beat potatoes with the sugar.
    Sift the flour, baking powder and salt.
    Combine with potato mixture.
    Stir in the raisins, then add milk and spices.
    Beat well.
    Pour into a greased loaf tin.
    Bake in a 325\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
    Allow to cool.
