Meat And Vegetable Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. cubed pork
1/2 c. cubed beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 rib celery
3 toes garlic, chopped
1/2 bell pepper, chopped
1 c. diced carrots
2 c. water
1 medium to large potato, peeled and diced
1/2 c. flour
salt to taste
black pepper or red pepper to taste
1/4 c. oil
Preparation

In a nonstick pot, put enough oil to coat bottom of pot. Dredge meat in flour with salt and pepper.
Heat oil and add meat. Cook until brown. Add any leftover flour to pot.
Stir in onion, celery, bell pepper and garlic. Cover and lower heat to simmer. Cook 1/2 hour. Add water, carrots, potatoes, salt and pepper. Cook slowly 1 hour.
Adjust seasoning. Serve over cooked rice.
