Lemon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1 c. milk
    3 beaten egg yolks
    1/4 c. butter
    1 Tbsp. grated lemon peel
    1/2 c. lemon juice
    1 c. sour cream
    Cool Whip
    1 baked pie shell
Preparation
    In saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch; gradually add milk until smooth. Cook and stir over medium heat until thick. Reduce heat; cook and stir 2 minutes longer. Remove from heat. Stir small amount of hot liquid into egg yolks. Return all back to pan. Bring to gentle boil, stirring constantly. Cook 20 minutes longer. (Mixture will be very thick.) Add butter and lemon peel. Gently stir in lemon juice. Cover and cool completely. Fold in sour cream; pour into pie shell. Refrigerate 2 hours. Top with Cool Whip.
