Pecan Pie Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix
    1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 to 2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix cake mix, 1 egg and melted butter well.
    Reserve 2/3 cup of this batter.
    Spread the rest into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
