Apples And Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. water
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 stick oleo
7 large sweet potatoes
3 large apples (Winesap)

Preparation

Boil first six ingredients until thick.
Boil sweet potatoes until tender.
Layer sweet potatoes and apples (apples need to be sliced thin).
Put in 9 x 13-inch casserole.
Cook for 30 minutes in moderate (350\u00b0) oven.
