"Icebox" Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 c. cucumbers, sliced
2 c. onions, sliced thin
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/2 tsp. mustard seed
1 1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. turmeric
Preparation
-
Bring ingredients, except cucumbers and onions, to boil. Alternate cucumbers and onions in jar.
Pour hot liquid over cucumbers and onions.
Let cool.
Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours before serving.
