Lung Fever Salve - Draw Salve - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 lb. fresh lard
1/4 lb. bees wax
2 oz. pulverized camphor
3 oz. white rosin
2 drams balsam of Peru
2 drams oil of cedar
1 oz. turpentine

Preparation

First put the lard and wax together and melt; then melt camphor in
it.
Then
put in all the other ingredients except for turpentine
and
cook
until
they are all melted.
Remove from stove
and
then add turpentine (turpentine is inflammable).
