Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. cocoa
2 c. regular oatmeal, uncooked
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts or coconut
Preparation

Combine butter, sugar and milk in a medium sauce pan; boil 3 minutes.
Stir in cocoa, oatmeal, vanilla and nuts.
Beat well; working quickly, drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper.
Cool 5 minutes.
Yields: 3 dozen.
