Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. shortening
6 to 7 Tbsp. cold water
Preparation

Sift together flour and salt.
Cut in shortening with pastry blender.
Add enough water to hold ingredients together, sprinkling evenly and mixing with fork to form ball.
Makes enough for 8-inch or 9-inch pie, either 2-crust or bottom crust and crisscross strips on top.
