Nancy'S Boiled Fish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 firm texture fish steaks (5 to 7 oz.) or skinless fillets (about 3/4-inch thick)
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
Preparation
    Preheat broiler.
    Rinse steaks or fillets; pat dry with paper towels.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Spread 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons mayonnaise over top of each steak or fillet.
    Sprinkle 1 1/2 teaspoons cheese on top of each.
    Place on broiling pan. Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat, 5 to 8 minutes or until top is puffed and brown and fish tests done.
    Serves 4.
