Grandmother'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. butter
    1 c. sour cream
    1/2 tsp. vanilla or butternut flavor
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    ground nutmeg or mace
Preparation
    Combine flour, soda and salt.
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each.
    Add dry ingredients to cream mixture, alternating with sour cream and ending with dry ingredients.
    Add flavor.
    Generously grease and flour 10-inch tube pan.
    Cover bottom of pan with nuts.
    Spoon batter over nuts. Sprinkle with nutmeg or mace.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours. Remove from oven and remove from pan immediately.
