Scalloped Oysters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. coarsely ground crackers
    1 qt. oysters
    3/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 3/4 c. scalded milk
    2 eggs, beaten
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Melt butter in scalded milk.
    Add eggs.
    Layer oysters and crackers in a 2-quart bowl.
    Pour milk and egg mixture over salt and pepper to taste.
    Uncover for 1 hour.
    Bake at 350\u00b0.
