Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
3 egg whites
2/3 c. milk
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

In a bowl, cream butter with sugar.
Alternately add the milk and dry ingredients.
In separate bowl, beat egg whites until light, then fold into mixture.
Stir in vanilla.
Place in lightly greased 9 x 13-inch cake pan and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 45 to 50 minutes.
