Hobo'S Hamburger - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. hamburger, seasoned with salt and pepper, etc. as desired
    Idaho potato strips, cut as for French fries
    sliced carrots
    ring of bell pepper
    1 slice onion
    generous pat of butter
Preparation
    Make 6 large hamburger patties, oval in shape.
    Place each patty on a large square of aluminum foil.
    Add a layer of potato strips.
    Season.
    On top of this, place a layer of sliced carrots. Season.
    Add a ring of bell pepper and 1 slice of onion.
    Season and top with a generous pat of butter.
    Fold foil up and seal tightly, making 6 separate servings.
    Bake for 1 hour at 275\u00b0 or 300\u00b0.
    Serve with garlic bread and green salad.
