Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. vinegar
    4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. salt
    onion, sliced (about 2 large ones)
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    1/2 tsp. turmeric
    1/2 tsp. mustard seed
    thinly sliced cucumbers
Preparation
    Mix all cold ingredients together thoroughly.
    Pour over thinly sliced cucumbers.
    Pour slowly so you can pack cukes in tightly.
    Place in refrigerator.
    Ready to eat in 2 to 3 days. Delicious and easy.
