Cinnamon Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Cream shortening, brown sugar and sugar until fluffy.
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Sift together flour, salt, soda and baking powder.
Add alternately with buttermilk.
Combine brown sugar and cinnamon.
Pour half the batter into prepared loaf pan.
Sprinkel with 2/3 of the brown sugar mixture.
Add remaining batter. Sprinkle with the remaining brown sugar mixture.
Swirl with knife.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes or until bread tests done.
