Banana Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. shortening
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. mashed bananas
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Cream the shortening and sugar. Add eggs. Beat well. Add flour mixture to sugar mixture alternately with bananas.
    Add vanilla and nuts. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Frost with powdered sugar frosting while warm.
    Cut when cool.
