Wilderness Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    pinch of salt
    1 1/3 c. evaporated milk (unsweetened)
    1 c. whole milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    You will also need 8 small, clean baby food jars with lids, 8 (1 pound) coffee cans with the plastic lids, paper towels, chipped ice and ice cream salt.
    (You may use regular table salt.)
