Beef Ragout In Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 acorn squash
    3 lb. beef round bottom roast
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    1 1/2 c. water
    3/4 c. uncooked long grain rice
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 medium onions, sliced
    1/2 stick butter or margarine, melted
Preparation
    Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Cut squash in half and remove seeds. Place cut side down in shallow baking pan.
    Pour in 1-inch water. Bake, uncovered, 20 to 25 minutes.
