Broccoli Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bunch broccoli
    1/4 lb. Swiss cheese, grated
    2 green onions, including some of tops, chopped
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
    1/2 lb. bacon, fried crisply and crumbled
Preparation
    Wash broccoli thoroughly and cut tops into bite sized florets (save stems for another use).
    Combine with Swiss cheese and green onions.
    Stir together mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar and add to broccoli mixture.
    Let marinate overnight or up to several days in refrigerator.
    Just before serving, toss with bacon.
    Sprinkle some on top.
    Serves 6.
