Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1 rounded Tbsp. butter
1 or 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1 large egg
a little salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar.
Add well beaten egg and flour; beat well.
Add milk and vanilla.
Pour into 6-inch unbaked shell. Bake in slow oven until knife comes out clean.
