Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Wesson oil
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 eggs, well beaten
    2 1/2 c. flour, sifted
    1 tsp. soda, dissolved in buttermilk
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. cooked prunes, mashed and sweetened
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream together oil and sugar; add beaten eggs.
    Add sifted dry ingredients of flour and spices to mixture, alternating with buttermilk.
    Fold in prunes and nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour in tube pan.
    Ice with Buttermilk Frosting.
    Good when stored for a few days wrapped or sealed in cake taker.
