Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 medium-size potatoes
4 Tbsp. butter
4 Tbsp. flour
2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c milk
1 1/2 c. grated American cheese
Preparation

Peel potatoes and slice medium thin.
Make a white sauce of butter, flour, salt and milk.
When thickened, remove from range, add grated cheese.
Stir cheese into sauce.
Place sliced potatoes in 3-quart casserole, cover with hot white sauce and bake in 375\u00b0 preheated or cold oven, uncovered, for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
