Butterscotch Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    1/3 c. butter
    1/3 c. cream
    few grains of salt
Preparation
    Stir over heat until sugar is dissolved and butter is melted. Increase heat to medium and bring mixture to boiling, stirring occasionally.
    Boil 5 minutes without stirring.
    Remove from heat and beat sauce 1 minute.
    Serve warm.
    Makes 1 1/4 cups sauce. Use heavy saucepan.
