Scotch Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. soft butter
    1/2 c. soft margarine
    1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix together thoroughly the first 3 ingredients.
    Sift in the flour; mix thoroughly with hands.
    Roll out to 1/3 to 1/2-inch thick.
    Chill; cut into finger size pieces.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Prick with a fork; press edges with fork.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Watch closely, as they brown quickly.
