Mock Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. cold water
    unbaked pie shell
    24 Ritz crackers
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Bring water, sugar and cream of tartar to a boil.
    Drop in your crackers
    but\tdo
    not
    stir.\tPour
    into
    unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle
    with cinnamon.
    Dot with butter.
    Bake until shell is browned.
