Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour, sifted
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
5 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 to 1/4 c. cocoa
Preparation

Cream together the sugar and butter.
Add shortening.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Sift the dry ingredients and add alternately with milk.
Mix in vanilla.
Bake in greased tube pan for 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0.
