Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. flour (plain)
1 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. water (lukewarm)
2 c. buttermilk
3/4 c. Crisco
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. yeast (dry or cake)
3 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in water. Sift dry ingredients together.
Cut in shortening until well mixed.
Add buttermilk and yeast. Work into flour with large spoon. Grease a large bowl.
Put in dough. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use. Roll about 1/2-inch thick on a floured surface.
Let rise about 1 1/2 hours. Brush with butter.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
