Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 frying size chicken
    2 c. cooked peas
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    biscuits (as many as are needed to cover casserole)
    2 c. raw sliced potatoes
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 pt. sweet cream
Preparation
    Cut up the chicken as you would for frying.
    Brown slightly in small amount of oil and set aside.
    In a 2-quart casserole dish, place a layer of sliced potatoes and then cover with a layer of peas.
    Arrange pieces of chicken over this.
    Add salt and pepper to cream and pour over the chicken.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Remove cover and return to oven until chicken is brown. Add biscuits for topping if desired and bake 15 minutes or until chicken and/or biscuits are brown.
